Chocolate Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Bark
This chocolate peanut butter yogurt bark is an easy, healthy dessert! You can store it in the freezer and grab a piece when you need a sweet treat!
We can all agree that chocolate and peanut butter is the best combination of all time, right? I mean really, it doesn’t get better than salty peanut butter and sweet (or in this case, semi-sweet) chocolate. And this chocolate peanut butter yogurt bark delivers that epic pair in a healthier form.
Why I Love This Recipe
This frozen yogurt bark is such a fun treat and I love that it’s really easy to make! Plus, it’s a kid-friendly treat, so it’s perfect when you’re trying to get your kids to eat a little healthier. Greek yogurt is a good source of protein and the peanut butter and chocolate make this combination irresistible.
The Best Yogurt for Frozen Yogurt Bark
You can make this with regular yogurt or Greek yogurt. I prefer Greek because it has more protein but it does have just a hint of that sour tang. If you’re not a Greek yogurt fan, try it with a regular variety. Also, I used an unsweetened yogurt so I could add my own sweetener but if you buy a sweetened yogurt, just cut back on the sweetener in the recipe. I also recommend using a full-fat Greek yogurt. Fat free yogurt tends to get a little icy when frozen and doesn’t have the same creamy texture.
This recipe only takes a few minutes to make but I do have a few tips to ensure things go smoothly.
How to Make Frozen Yogurt Bark
Wrap a small plastic cutting board in plastic wrap, so you can easily spread the bark into an even layer without having to worry about it sticking. Combine the yogurt, peanut butter, and honey until completely mixed. Taste for sweetness and adjust, if needed. Spread the yogurt mixture into an even layer, about 4 inches by 6 inches, or ½ inch thick.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and drizzle a little extra peanut butter on top. Transfer to the freezer and let chill for 1 hour or until completely frozen.
Break into small pieces and store in an airtight container in the freezer. Let it thaw for a minute or two before eating.
The Best Peanut Butter for Frozen Yogurt Bark
You can make this with any kind of nut butter you like, but this recipe works best with smooth and creamy peanut butter. I recommend using one that is salted. You can also use almond butter or cashew butter, they’re all fair game! If you do have unsalted nut butter, just sprinkle a pinch of salt on top once you’ve spread out the yogurt mixture.
Tips for Perfect Frozen Yogurt Bark
- Be sure to wrap the cutting board in plastic wrap or parchment paper so it doesn’t stick. Using a smaller cutting board will make it easier to store in the freezer.
- Use full fat Greek yogurt for the best results. Fat free yogurt can get icy when frozen.
- Let it thaw for a minute before eating.
Yogurt Bark Variations
You can make all different kinds of frozen yogurt bark using the same simple formula! If you love chocolate, you have to try my Nutella Yogurt Bark! Try using vanilla Greek yogurt and sprinkling with blueberries and chopped strawberries to make this delicious Berry Yogurt Bark. Or try blending fruit into the yogurt and then sprinkling with granola. Or try a combination of fruit and shredded coconut. Have fun with it! It’s hard to go wrong.
How to Store Yogurt Bark
Once your frozen yogurt bark is made, transfer it to an airtight container. It will last in the freezer for at least a week. (It would likely keep much longer but I can’t say that it’s lasted any longer than that in our house!)

Tried Yoplait Vanilla yogurt mixed peanut butter sprinkled chocolate chips
Just tried this today. I used maple syrup instead of honey (I’m a Mainer.) and it is sooo good. I plan on making all sorts of versions!
What a nice, easy treat! I didn’t have chocolate chips on hand so melted some coconut oil, added cocao powder and maple syrup. Heated this all in a saucepan until smooth and then drizzled on top of the bark before freezing. Yum – chocolate and peanut butter can’t be beat!
Such a great substitution idea!

I am so all over this. Just as my kids will be! I’ve never had bark made with yogurt and I’m loving the sound of it — especially with peanut butter and chocolate.
I agree chocolate and peanut butter are the best food pairing. This recipe is so simple and I am sure wouldn’t last long in my freezer.
I love how easy and healthy sweet treat this is. Chocolate and peanut butter are a great combination.
Thanks for the tips. I tried it once using a sheet pan and let’s just say what I ended up with didn’t look anything like yours!
Hahaha oh no! Yeah, plastic wrap or parchment paper is essential!
I love how simple this is. I have to make this for my little guy asap!
