I’ve been on a bit of a yogurt bark kick. It started with this peanut butter yogurt bark, then I fell in love with this berry yogurt bark. Since then, I’ve been dreaming up new combinations. After making this Nutella fruit dip, I realized it would be perfect as a yogurt bark! This Nutella version might be my favorite one of all! If you love chocolate, this one is for you.

You don’t actually need to use Nutella in this recipe. Any chocolate hazelnut spread is fine. I used the Aldi brand. But Nutella is usually the easiest version for people to find. You can even order Nutella on Amazon!

The Best Yogurt Bark Toppings

I used a combination of mini chocolate chips, chopped strawberries, and crushed vanilla wafers. But you can use anything you like! Just make sure it’s in small pieces. Here are some other topping ideas:

  • Crushed Oreo cookies
  • Blueberries
  • Toffee bits
  • White chocolate chips
  • Chopped almonds
  • Shredded coconut flakes
  • Granola

The Best Yogurt for Frozen Yogurt Bark

I recommend using whole milk yogurt. Low-fat or fat-free yogurt can get icy when it’s frozen. You can use Greek yogurt, just be sure it’s full-fat Greek yogurt. I used vanilla yogurt for this recipe, but for a less sweet version you can use plain whole milk yogurt.

How to Make Nutella Yogurt Bark

Tips and Tricks

  • Spread the yogurt bark onto parchment paper, wax paper, or a silicone baking mat. This makes it easy to remove once it’s frozen. If you freeze it on a plate or baking sheet, it will stick.
  • Let it freeze completely before breaking into pieces. This yogurt bark is softer because of the Nutella, so store it in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy it.
  • Be sure to use small pieces for the toppings, so it’s easy to eat.
