Coconut Mango Smoothie

Now that we’re in the middle of September, I thought it would feel a little more like fall. But the temperatures are still high so I’ve kept my smoothie bowls on repeat in the morning. Maybe I’ll switch it up once it starts to cool down but for now, I’ll just keep enjoying this deliciousness.

This coconut mango smoothie is like a tropical paradise in a glass! Blend it up and you've got a healthy breakfast on the go!

It seems like coconut is one of those things that people either love or hate. I personally love it. I love the flavor, I love the texture, and I love the healthy fats and fiber it contains!

If you hate coconut, you might want to try a different recipe. Maybe this peach cobbler smoothie? Don’t worry, we can still be friends. But if you do love coconut, give this recipe a try! I think you’ll love it.

mango smoothie ingredients

I used Tone It Up’s Perfect Fit protein powder (they had a limited edition coconut flavor!) but Vega sells a coconut almond flavor and I’ve seen a few others! I’ve also used vanilla whey protein powder in this recipe that works too! It just won’t have quite as strong of a coconut flavor.

This past weekend was a busy one so thank goodness for quick and easy breakfast! Our weekend started with a trip to Oktoberfest, a 5K on Saturday morning, lunch with my family, another trip to Oktoberfest, game night with friends, a baby shower, and some church activities on Sunday. Can I have a weekend to rest up from the weekend?

Need a quick and easy breakfast? Try this coconut mango smoothie! Packed with protein and NO added sugar, it'll keep you going all morning!

  1. Looks like a really delicious way to start the day! Thanks for sharing…

  2. Oooh this one looks good! I haven’t had a smoothie in weeks, so I should probably fix that soon.

  3. Sounds delicious. I tend to love coconut more in a savory sense, but I’m starting to come around to sweet things too! I don’t keep this ingredient on hand in the house though (aside from coconut oil for cooking) so maybe if I force myself to buy some, I’ll have to try this smoothie recipe 😉 My favorite smoothie or yogurt toppings are FRUIT. Give me all the fruit or chia seeds to top them!

  4. I hear you about the weather! It’s supposed to be 92° here today — and we won’t see a breath of cooler weather until December… Ugh! I’ll be drinking this smoothie until then!

  5. Like the flavor of coconut, *hate* the texture! 🙂 I’ve never tried it blended in a smoothie before though. It actually sounds really good!

  6. I LOVE coconut! I’m going to have to try this for breakfast this week!

  7. This smoothie sounds like the perfect smoothie to remind you of the beach. Mango and coconut are two favorite fruits of mine. I will have to give this a try. Great combination of flavors.

  8. Ooh, it looks like a big delicious frosty. My favorite smoothie toppings are probably peanut butter, granola, and some fruit!

  9. Oktoberfest?! It’s what everybody considers one of -the- typically German events so I’d be really curious to see what it’s like for you over there.
The smoothie sounds delicious – coconut, mango and pineapple are the perfect tropical triplet.

  10. It has been hot here too! We had a cold front for a week but now it feels like summer all over again.

I’m okay with that though. The more smoothies, the better! And I’m kind of obsessed with coconut so I know I would love this!!

  11. MMMM anything coconut I love – even if I cannot actually consume it, I will smell the crap out of this! hahahahahahahah!

  12. I love coconut, and I had no idea there was a coconut protein powder! Yum!!

    xo,
    Angela

  13. Such a great flavour combination, I’d love to start the day off with one of these!

  14. Ah, tropical deliciousness!

  15. Mmm I love coconut and mango smoothies, so rich and refreshing! I’ve never come across coconut protein before. I’m intrigued! Definitely need to seek some out.
