What I [Attempted] Wednesday
What I Ate Attempted Wednesday… a recap of things I’ve done. (Exciting, no?) If you haven’t joined the link party yet, check it out! (And Jenn, I’m SO excited to see you in a few weeks!!!!)
This weekend was full of activites. Iβve learned saying βyesβ is the best way to encounter an adventure. So thatβs what I did this weekend, I said yes.
I said yes to the driving range.
I said yes to the batting cages.
I said yes to jumping off an old railroad bridge into the river.
I said yes to planking
And I said yes to texting while walking through the CVS parking lot, which led to me stubbing ramming my toe into the concrete parking barrier. It was bloody, and Iβll spare you the pictures.
Thatβs right, I didnβt hurt myself in any of the other adventures. Not even the rock climbing in flip flops I did on Sunday. No, my friends, I get injured while texting and walking. Hold your applause.
Anyways, since it is What I Ate Wednesday, I suppose I should show you what I’ve been eating:
The 100 calorie “Take Out” dinner.
- 1 package of no-oodles
- 2 tbsp teryiaki sauce (I gotta use up the rest from this recipe)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup broccoli
It tastes like take out. But it’s not.
And since that dinner was so low-cal… it was followed up with
A yogurt bowl
Save a bowl, use a yogurt container. I swear there is some yogurt under there. Then I topped it with a truckload of blueberries + Love Grown Granola.
I don’t know why I’ve been craving yogurt so much, but I’ve been eating it once, sometimes twice a day, every day. SO delicious.
What have you been eating these days?
Join the link party, and tell me!

Love love love all the things you said “yes” to! What a great way to spend the weekend!
Haha this is such a cool idea for WIAW! Looks like you had a lot of fun.
I love yogurt messes, but mine usually have less yogurt than cereal/granola and fruit π
I loved the giant salad beast I had for lunch today: lettuce, strawberries, craisins, almonds and raspberry vinaigrette!
Saying yes is a great way to have some fun, although I’d probably have to go with saying no to texting and toe smashing. Ouch. Hope it feels better soon. And is the “save a bowl, use a yogurt container” a Big & Rich reference? π
What have I been eating these days? Err. A lot of oatmeal, a lot of yogurt, a lot of fruit, a lot of chocolate, and a lot of almond butter. Good times π
Hahaha That planking is hilarious! I keep seeing that all over the place! A broken tree is definitely a creative spot for it!
And by plant I meant plank…
Ouch! Poor toe. Loving the plant picture!
Whitney
Omg! Looks like have been adventurous! I’ve gotten hurt from texting and walking before…dangerous! lol! Your take out dinner looks amazing and easy…love those recipes! π
I almost thought the blueberries were choc chips! haha
Hope your toe is better π
Looks like you had a lot of fun! Being in Korea, I eat a LOT of Korean food. Being American, I COOK a lot of American food. My fiancee and I are moving back to the US in a few weeks and we’re both looking forward to home cooked meals and LOTS of Mexican!
I am a yogurt beast π haha I have yet to find a greek yogurt that I am completly in love with though! I have never tried batting cages before!
