What I [Attempted] Wednesday
What I Ate Attempted Wednesday… a recap of things I’ve done. (Exciting, no?) If you haven’t joined the link party yet, check it out! (And Jenn, I’m SO excited to see you in a few weeks!!!!)
This weekend was full of activites. I’ve learned saying “yes” is the best way to encounter an adventure. So that’s what I did this weekend, I said yes.
I said yes to the driving range.
I said yes to the batting cages.
I said yes to jumping off an old railroad bridge into the river.
I said yes to planking
And I said yes to texting while walking through the CVS parking lot, which led to me stubbing ramming my toe into the concrete parking barrier. It was bloody, and I’ll spare you the pictures.
That’s right, I didn’t hurt myself in any of the other adventures. Not even the rock climbing in flip flops I did on Sunday. No, my friends, I get injured while texting and walking. Hold your applause.
Anyways, since it is What I Ate Wednesday, I suppose I should show you what I’ve been eating:
The 100 calorie “Take Out” dinner.
- 1 package of no-oodles
- 2 tbsp teryiaki sauce (I gotta use up the rest from this recipe)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup broccoli
It tastes like take out. But it’s not.
And since that dinner was so low-cal… it was followed up with
A yogurt bowl
Save a bowl, use a yogurt container. I swear there is some yogurt under there. Then I topped it with a truckload of blueberries + Love Grown Granola.
I don’t know why I’ve been craving yogurt so much, but I’ve been eating it once, sometimes twice a day, every day. SO delicious.
What have you been eating these days?
Join the link party, and tell me!

Good for you for going out! I am doing exactly that tomorrow night.. and dinner tonight with a friend! I’m pumped 🙂
I experience week-long yogurt cravings as well. Then suddenly I’ll get tired of it, and go weeks without it. (I can’t say the same for frozen yogurt though…I ALWAYS crave fro yo!). 🙂
I’ve been eating TONS of cottage cheese lately. I used to just eat it before bed, but now I often have it for lunch as well. And sometimes breakfast. Eep! I’ve been mixing regular with “no salt added” to keep sodium in check, because a half cup contains a loooot of salt! I’ve also been enjoying at least one container of guacamole/week.
I haven’t been in a batting cage since high school lock-ins at the mini-golf place. Oh the memories. 🙂 How was it?
I have the same yogurt obsession! I just can’t stop eating plain Greek yogurt 🙂 BTW, I have to get some of those Nooodles.
LOL i love the plank. Why not just whip one out in public?!? 😉 And the take out idea sounds awesome…so simple, too. My kind of meal!
What a glorious weekend! I am absolutely horrible at the driving range and even worse at the batting cages. Both my sisters are rockstar college softball players. I must have missed that part of the gene pool!
Haha, nice plank on a tree! Love me some yogurt bowls!!!
okay, if you like pad thai, you HAVE to try no-oodles in a peanut sauce that i got from monica (@run, eat, repeat). it’s so simple and SO delicious. i ate mine mixed with kelp noodles, but i’m sure it would be good with yours as well. you just mix about 1/8 c. of peanut flour with some sugar free maple syrup, siracha, and soy sauce (i used bragg’s liquid aminos) plus chili powder (just a pinch!) and voila. it is to die for!
i went to the driving range w. the bf before! it is SO fun (:
xo.
Oh my gosh that sounds SO good!!! Thanks for the recipe! I have some shiritaki noodles in the fridge that could totally work with that 🙂
wanna know something funny? I have yet to actually hit a golf ball. i miss EVERYTIME! no hand eye coordination for me. haha.
Thanks for swinging into my blog! I appreciate it!! 🙂
—and i have so done that while texting too!! yeowch!
Love that you rocked a plank RIGHT THERE!!!! LOVE It!!
