With the weather warming up, I’ve been craving smoothie bowls and this tropical smoothie bowl is my current go-to breakfast. The Sumo Citrus and frozen mango give this smoothie plenty of sweetness, and the Ripple Dairy Free Milk and Kite Hill Plant-Based yogurt create a deliciously creamy texture, without any dairy!

If you want to make a super thick smoothie bowl that can stand up to lots of toppings, follow these tips!

Tips for a Perfect Smoothie Bowl

  • For a super thick smoothie, peel the Sumo Citrus Mandarins and freeze overnight.
  • Be sure to use frozen mango in order to achieve the thickest texture.
  • You may need to add a little more Ripple Dairy Free Milk depending on your blender but try not to add to much or it will thin out the smoothie.
  • If you love smoothies, be sure to try this triple berry smoothie bowl, too!

Tropical Smoothie Bowl Toppings

I like adding coconut shreds, chia seeds, and strawberries but there are tons of toppings you can use! Here are a few other ideas to try:

  • Sliced almonds
  • Hemp seeds
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Banana slices
  • Granola
  • Kiwi slices
