I love making smoothie bowls for breakfast, and now I can enjoy delicious Açaí bowls without taking a trip to the smoothie shop! If you’re not familiar with açaí berries, they’re a type of fruit with tons of health benefits. While açaí berries can be hard to find, SAMBAZON makes organic that you can find in the freezer section at Publix! These packs are perfect for making your own smoothie bowls at home and you can customize your bowl with all your favorite ingredients. For this recipe, I used frozen blackberries and frozen raspberries, plus a few slices of avocado to add a creamy texture without added sugar. If you like your smoothie sweeter, try it with a frozen banana instead!
How to Make a Smoothie Bowl
Here are my tips to ensure you get a thick and creamy smoothie bowl:
- Don’t add too much liquid. Start with just a splash of almond milk and then add more, as needed to blend the smoothie.
- If you want to add protein powder or spinach, blend the protein powder and/or spinach with about ¼ of almond milk first. That will help ensure it blends smoothly.
- Be sure the fruit is frozen when blending so that you get a thick, spoonable consistency.

Ingredients

Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
