Weekend Blessings
It’s been quite a weekend! Yesterday, I had to finish moving out of my old apartment and I was faced with a LOT of cleaning… Thankfully, my friend Rachel willingly volunteered to spend her Saturday afternoon scrubbing down my apartment with me. Now that’s a good friend, no? She’s pretty amazing 🙂
To celebrate the end of the cleaning, we took a walk to Carytown, and it just so happened to be Chalk Up the Town!
Look at these amazing sidewalk chalk drawings!
Rachel and I didn’t do any chalk drawings, but we did stop at Carytown Cupcakes, to get some frosting shots!
How adorable are these? They’re little chocolate cups filled with frosting!!! Talk about a sugar fix 😉
Today, I went on a long run with my friend Vishal, and it was great to get back into running! (Thanks for encouraging me to keep going, Vishal!!) My knee hurts a little, but I think my body is happy to get going again! I have to make sure I’m ready for the race on Saturday!
I’m glad the weather is warm. Our past runs to Maymont have involved a lot more layers, like this!
Thankfully, today was a nice warm run, so no headbands and sweatpants required!
What fun activities did you get into this weekend?

Can Rachel come to my house and scrub it down for me? I’ll pay her with gratitude! 🙂
Cute frosting shots.
I love that the vehicle for the frosting is a chocolate cup…that is dangerous, but deserved after all that cleaning!
Oh, those cupcakes are so cute!
I hate you for tempting me with those cupcakes.
And by hate I mean love.
And by tempt I mean tease considering that I am nowhere near cupcakes and that I am currently dyinggggg for one.
