Weekend Blessings
It’s been quite a weekend! Yesterday, I had to finish moving out of my old apartment and I was faced with a LOT of cleaning… Thankfully, my friend Rachel willingly volunteered to spend her Saturday afternoon scrubbing down my apartment with me. Now that’s a good friend, no? She’s pretty amazing 🙂
To celebrate the end of the cleaning, we took a walk to Carytown, and it just so happened to be Chalk Up the Town!
Look at these amazing sidewalk chalk drawings!
Rachel and I didn’t do any chalk drawings, but we did stop at Carytown Cupcakes, to get some frosting shots!
How adorable are these? They’re little chocolate cups filled with frosting!!! Talk about a sugar fix 😉
Today, I went on a long run with my friend Vishal, and it was great to get back into running! (Thanks for encouraging me to keep going, Vishal!!) My knee hurts a little, but I think my body is happy to get going again! I have to make sure I’m ready for the race on Saturday!
I’m glad the weather is warm. Our past runs to Maymont have involved a lot more layers, like this!
Thankfully, today was a nice warm run, so no headbands and sweatpants required!
What fun activities did you get into this weekend?

those cupcakes look devine!
This weekend I went to 2 birthday parties and spent the rest of it in my kitchen!
weekends are so wonderful; I love the art you got to see
Those chalk drawings are beauuutiful! & those chocolate cups are so stinkin’ cute, I don’t know if I’d be able to eat them without staring at them for a good 20 minutes, first. Ahh and don’t you LOVE the warmer weather? It feels so freeing to run without 9 jackets on and thick gloves!
Yay for Spring! Hope you have a happy week 😀
