NoBull Veggie Burgers Review
The past few days have been a bit of a whirlwind. I got back from SXSW on Wednesday, and I’ve been getting catching up on work e-mails, unpacking, and helping Alex look for apartments. (His apartment burned down on Friday, while I was in Austin. Crazy, right?) Thank goodness for frozen food. (Hellooooo NoBull Veggie Burgers!)
I’ve also been trying to get my meals back on track, but I haven’t had too much time to spend in the kitchen. It’s times like these when frozen foods often come to the rescue, so I figured this would be a great time to finally review the NoBull Veggie Burgers from Relay Foods!
I had the pleasure of trying the NoBull Veggie Burgers.ย These veggie burgers are made with 100% natural/real ingredients, including mushrooms and lentils. I cooked mine in the toaster oven and had it with a baked potato. It was pretty tasty, and definitely healthy. I gave Alex one too, and he enjoyed it as well. It said to defrost them ahead of time, but since I didn’t plan ahead, the toaster oven seemed to do the trick.
I just topped mine with ketchup, but they’re also good with a little hot sauce.
Again, it’s something great to have on hand in the freezer, when you just don’t feel like cooking, or you need a simple protein packed dinner. (Plus, these are made locally, which I love!)
Love the No Bull burgers, they are fantastic!! I also really like Amy’s California style, that’s probably my fave grocery store brand ๐
I love No Bull burgers! When we had a few days of warm weather last week, I tried grilling them for the first time, and now that’s my favorite method of preparing them. They were killer with Marshall Farms herb cheddar cheese.
I’ve seen these on Kath’s blog and I’ve been wanting to try them, but they’re not sold here unfortunately! I’ve actually never found a frozen veggie burger that I really like – I much prefer homemade ones. Jenna’s spicy black bean burgers from Eat, Live Run, and Oh She Glows’ veggie burger recipes are some of my favourites!
Veggie burgers!! Oh my gosh I love them. I actually prefer making homemade, but I have bought plenty before! They really work well in the summers when I go to BBQs and dont want to eat hotdogs!
Oh no! Sorry to hear about the Alex’s apartment! Hope everyone was okay! I like Dr. Praegers veggie burgers but haven’t had them in so long! These look pretty good and hearty! The mushroom and garlic sounds delicious!
I’ve tried a lot of frozen veggie burgers, but one of my favorites is Trader Joe’s Masala Burger…love the spiciness! And it’s FABULOUS topped with a fried egg! ya know, cuz that’s how I roll, bastardizing vegan food! ๐
So sorry to hear about the fire! Hope everything works out well and Alex is able to find another apartment soon!
I haven’t tried many, but I absolutely adore the Morningstar Chipotle Black Bean Burgers. So much flavor! However, the only place I can seem to find them is at Costco. So I buy a big box and they last me quite a while…
I hope you had a great time at the Festival Liz!
I really like Dr Praegers, but I know some people can’t stand them because they fall apart easily
Where I live, most of the veggie burgers they sell contain soy and I’m allergic so I usually make my own ๐ Homemade is hard to beat anyway, but I’ll admit that frozen veggie burgers are so convenient!
