These vegan Oreo truffles are made with just a few ingredients, and they taste absolutely divine! No one will believe these decadent treats are dairy-free!
If you love chocolate, you have to try these vegan Oreo truffles! They are so rich and creamy, yet so easy to make. All you have to do is blend Oreos and dairy-free cream cheese in your food processor, roll it into balls, and then dip them in melted chocolate. I also added a pinch of silver sprinkles to make these the perfect holiday treat!
These truffles are a great dessert for a party because you can make them ahead of time and keep them in the fridge until you’re ready to serve them. I think these are best served chilled, so you don’t have to worry about the chocolate melting.
I snagged all of the ingredients for these truffles at Publix! They have some great deals on treats for the holidays, like Enjoy Life Baking Chocolate for $5.99! You can also save $1.50 on 2 Nabisco Oreo Family Size Cookies, $2 off Country Crock Plant Butter, and $1 off Betty Crocker items! You can find the Extra Savings Flyer in stores or go to Publix.com to see all of the deals.
How to Make Oreo Truffles
Roll into 1” balls and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
Tips for Perfect Truffles
- When melting the chocolate chips, microwave them at 50% power in 30-second intervals, frequently stirring to avoid burning. The plant-based butter will help the chocolate melt smoothly and make it easier to coat the truffles.
- Be sure to add the sprinkles immediately after dipping the truffles, so it sticks to the chocolate.
- I recommend using regular Oreos and not Double Stuf Oreos.
- After the truffles have been dipped in chocolate, place them on parchment paper, so they don’t stick to the plate or tray.
- Store these truffles in the fridge or freezer.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Are Oreo cookies vegan? Yes! Believe it or not, these tasty sandwich cookies are vegan.
- What kind of cream cheese should I use? I used Kite Hill’s vegan cream cheese, which you can buy at Publix.
- What’s the best way to dip the truffles? Use two forks to lower each ball into the melted chocolate, one at a time. Then lift it out of the chocolate and let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl. Place the coated truffle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Ingredients
- 35 Oreo Cookies (about 14oz)
- 8 oz dairy-free cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon Country Crock Plant Butter
- 2 cups Enjoy Life dairy-free chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon Betty Crocker Sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a plate or small tray with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add the cream cheese and Oreos to a food processor and pulse 10 to 12 times until the mixture is combined.
- Roll the Oreo mixture into small balls using about 1 tablespoon of the cookie mixture per truffle.
- Place the balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and plant-based butter on 50% power for 30-second intervals, frequently stirring to avoid burning.
- Dip each truffle into the chocolate, ensuring that it’s lightly coated. I think this is easiest to do with two forks. Gently lower the truffle into the chocolate mixture and let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.

- Repeat until all truffles are coated in chocolate.
- Place the truffles in the fridge or freezer until the chocolate is set.
