A few weeks ago, at work, we had a little “ice breaker” activity in one of our big team meetings. We had to create our favorite brand out of play-doh. (Whatever that means.) I immediately decided on Love Grown Foods since they’re just awesome.
I was explaining to my co-workers why Love Grown was such a cool company, and everyone was intrigued! I ended up winning a Starbucks gift card out of the whole ordeal. Not bad, right? But that’s not all! I posted the picture to the Love Grown Facebook page, and they told me they would send me coupons for some free granola!
And then, they far exceeded expectations. They sent me two HUGE boxes of samples. There was seriously probably 100 mini bags of granola, plus big bags of each flavor, a t-shirt, a notebook, stickers, and tons of coupons! I was like a granola fairy, running around work, passing out bags of granola.
As if I didn’t already LOVE them, I just couldn’t stop smiling
I’ve been eating this granola non-stop for the past couple of days. I have a bag in my desk drawer, and I’m pretty sure I eat a handful of it every 7 minutes.
Obviously, there are plenty of normal things you can do with granola. But I wanted to glam it up a bit… so I decided to play around with it. And add chocolate, because you really can’t go wrong when you add chocolate.
Prepare yourself for some addictive snacking.
Chocolate Granola Bark
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup granola (I used Love Grown Cocoa Goodness Granola)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/8 tsp sea salt (do NOT leave this out!)

Wow, looks like some fantastic loot you got there! What an awesome recipe!
Yumm that bark looks amazzzzing
That was so nice of them. They seem like a really great company
That’s so cool of them! And I love the idea of that bark..but I gotta admit, I can’t remember the last time I did anything with granola other than eat it by the (many) handful. I love making my own, because I know I’ll just eat the whole bag/batch/box/etc., so I can make a half recipe and not feel so bad about eating it all at once
Hahaha yeah I definitely should have made a smaller batch… since it’s already half gone, in 12 hours
Holy cow, I can’t wait to try this out.
I’m warning you… you’ll want to eat the whole pan
That is so cool!!!
I’m a huge fan of handfuls of granola over anything else!
If you really want to share the love, I’ll send you my address
Haha…LoveGrown is seriously one of the best granolas I’ve ever had. Try sprinkling the chocolate granola in a jar of PB and spooning it to get it out. You won’t be sorry
Granola by the handful is the best way to eat it! I totally agree that Love Grown Foods is a great company with amazing customer service–so important!!
Granola! With thick yoghurt or almond milk
When we were kids we ate Quaker Harvest Crunch with orange juice…weird but so good!
Love the idea are the chocolate granola bark-genius!
I LOVE Love Grown…Maddy & Alex are the BEST.
They seriously are!!!
That granola looks awesome. I like using granola as a topping for overnight oats, smoothies – but your recipie looks delicious
What a great idea!! I love making granola at home but to make it into an even more indulgent little snack sounds like heaven (especially with the added chocolate). YUM!
But it’s crazy addicting!!! The whole batch is alllllmost gone
Amazing! I am so in need of the granola fairy to deliver a package to my doorstep. I usually make my own granola but haven’t had time and it’s been way too hot to do a lot of cooking/baking!
Isn’t Maddy the best?? And those mini LOVE bags are amazing! I carry them everywhere!!
Cool, sounds like a lovely sample pack! That bark sounds tasty. I like to enjoy granola with some greek yogurt and a drop of maple syrup.
I just stumbled upon your blog and I love reading it! I can’t wait to read more!!
Those granola packs look delicious. I’d love to try them on some Greek yogurt!
I just found your blog.. and came by looking for veggies and was so happy to see this recipe:D I make my own granola, now I will have to turn it into bark!
Wow, what a result! Making granola into bark is a genius idea
I put it mainly on top of yoghurt and fruit for breakfast – but I wouldn’t be able to keep a bag in my drawer because it’d be gone in minutes!
I am not a huge granola person, but I could easily turn into one if I had your mad cooking skills to make this granola bark.
