Weekend Recovery
First of all, you all rock. Your comments made me smile, and I was reminded how awesome the blogging community is. 🙂
Hopefully, the reasons of the disaster race, weren’t too much information…
After what turned out to be quite a weekend, Eric and I needed some recovery food. So he cooked up a huge brunch, and we sipped mimosas on the porch, soaking in the sunshine. Not a bad way to end the week no?
Check out this feast!
That was some delicious food, let me tell you. I couldn’t quite eat it all, but I certainly made a good attempt 😉 Does anyone know what the red stuff on the lower left is?? I’ll be impressed if you do!
I also fit in a pretty good workout at the gym. I was using my phone instead of my ipod for music, which meant I could snap a pic during my cool down! This is me, up in the gym, just working on my fitness. Or should I say… stretches.
Please note the backwards wording on the shirt. Life + Love = Happiness.
What do you like to do after a rough weekend? Coffee date with friends? Go for a run? Bubble bath?
<3 Liz
When I am stressed, the only thing that truly makes it better is tackling my to do list head on. After a few hours of crossing things off, then I eat something delicious, bake things, go for a walk with my puppy, water my newly planted garden!, call basically all of my best friends, call my mom, WORKOUT, do a face mask…… Let me know if you need more ideas haha! Good grief!
Nothing like a good run for recovery 🙂 I also happen to enjoy trashy movies as a fun escape. And chocolate. Those potatoes look gooood, haven’t had potatoes in forever–you might have inspired a weekend meal (I’m much too lazy to cook potatoes during the week 🙂 )
Your egg looks so yummy! Love that teeshirt too!
I’m a snuggle with the doggie/husband kinda girl when I get stressed. 🙂
