Summer Favorites
I don’t know about you, but to me, Labor Day fees like the official end of summer.
I’m not sure where it went, but I must say, it’s been full of adventures with great friends, so what more can you ask for?
Maybe a few delicious recipes as well…
So to commemorate the end of summer, here are some of my favorite recipes of the season! Grab the last of your summer produce, and pack up some of these ideas for a cookout or barbecue, and savor it, before pumpkin recipes take over the internet 😉

The perfect way to use up a bunch of fresh vegetables! Toss them in with some whole wheat pasta.
Got lots of greens to use up? Toss them with some trail mix and balsamic vinegar!
This could be a side dish, but I’ve been known to toss it with some quinoa and call it dinner.
Yes! I’m a three-ingredient recipe gal. 🙂 I’ve been a fan of plain old fruit lately. I just got cherries and peaches at the store. Gotta’ get ’em while the gettin’s good!
Ohhh yum! I’m so bad at timing peaches right. I either eat them before they’re ripe, or I wait too long!
The black bean avocado salad look delicious. I might have to make it sometime this week.
Why have I never thought to throw some trail mix in a salad? That sounds like just about the easiest thing in the world!
The black bean & avocado salad looks so easy and yummy – as well as satisfying!
My favorite summer recipes are anything with tomato! I refuse to ever buy a nasty winter tomato from the grocery store, so I have to get my fill while I can. And maybe roast a few to go with pasta 🙂
Can’t wait to try the whole wheat pasta & roasted vegetable dish.
That three ingredient salad looks amazing!! I love stuff like that 😀
Mmm trail mix on a salad! I’m stealing that from you 🙂 YUM! Great idea, hunnie! <3
And yes, Labour Day totally says end of summer! It is SO sad.
Does a bowl of watermelon count as a recipe? LOL! 🙂
These plates all look amazing Liz! I am particulary loving the look of your simple 3 ingredient green salad! I’m going to miss the amazing tomatoes we’ve been enjoying – one of the very best things about summer!
