Chickpea Caesar Wrap
These chickpea Caesar wraps are a quick and easy lunch! You only need a handful of ingredients for this healthy, filling meal.

I’ve always loved Caesar dressing but once I became a vegetarian I had to find an alternative since most Caesar salad dressings contain anchovies. But luckily for me, it hasn’t been hard to create a vegetarian-friendly swap! Once I had a dressing nailed down, the rest of this wrap is easy! Think of this recipe as a simple base and you can add other veggies to the wrap depending on what you have in your fridge.
The Best Vegetarian Caesar Salad Dressings
If you’re looking for a homemade option, try my creamy vegan Caesar dressing which has just the right amount of creamy, tangy flavor to replace your favorite Caesar salad dressing. You can make a batch of this dressing and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Or if you don’t want to make your own dressing, I recommend Brianna’s Asiago Caesar dressing. It’s not vegan (it does contain dairy) but there’s no fish in it, so it’s vegetarian friendly. I love the flavor and I always have a bottle in my fridge.
The chickpeas and veggies make this wrap healthy, and the dressing adds the perfect punch of flavor. Of course, if you’re not a vegetarian, any Caesar dressing would work. For the chickpeas, you can either use them straight out of the can or you can make these crispy chickpeas and add the cooked chickpeas to the wrap. Keep in mind that the crispy chickpeas won’t stay crispy as they cool down. But they’ll still have a lovely flavor!
Variations & Substitutions
- Feel free to add additional veggies. I love chopped tomatoes, shredded carrots, or shredded cabbage.
- You can also add shaved Parmesan cheese or crumbled feta cheese.
- I recommend using a whole wheat wrap for more protein and fiber but any type of tortilla or wrap will be fine.

p.s. I love Brianna’s dressing.
I never liked Caesar salad although maybe now I would. I used to be the pickiest eater which was fine when it came to this salad since the dressing was known to be so fattening. My son loves Caesar so I should at least try making this for him!
Let me know if you like it! Ps I saw a black and white cookie today and totally thought of your cookie post 🙂
I love Caesar salads and this wrap looks delicious! Definitely need to try it out!
I love a good Caesar salad every now and again — Bacchus has by far my favorrrrrrrite in the city too. I could probably eat that every day quite honestly now that I think about it haha, so good! 🙂
I still haven’t tried that place!!
