A Bachelorette Weekend
This past weekend, my sister-in-law & friends threw me an amazing bachelorette party & wedding shower and it was so much fun. A couple of my best friends from Ohio came in town to celebrate and it was fun getting to spend the weekend doing wedding activities with them.
Most of the details were kept as a surprise, so I didn’t know exactly what I was in for. It turned out to be an amazing day!
We started off Saturday morning with brunch at Godfrey’s. If you’re from Richmond, then you probably know that it’s a drag queen brunch. Yep, it was hilarious. Definitely a good bachelorette destination, because I wasn’t the only one there celebrating upcoming nuptials.
After brunch, we all came back to my apartment where my sister in law & maid of honor threw me a wonderful lingerie shower, complete with some pretty hilarious games.
We also ate some super delicious food (I think I ate an entire bowl of avocado + corn salsa) and then we headed out to dinner at Pearl. (This day contained so much eating, it was amazing.)
It was pretty thoughtful of them to decorate it for me. Look! They had my new initials on the wall.
We made a few more stops throughout the night, at Sweet Frog (yes, we got frozen yogurt) and Can Can. All in all, it was a wonderful of celebrating and I feel so lucky to have such great girl friends here! Good friends are hard to come by, and I’m lucky to have this group of girls!
Looks like you had a great weekend! You must be getting super excited for the wedding!!

It sounds like it was such a great time. That is kind of how I hope my bachlorette party will be…nice and cute, not crazy.

One of my friends is marrying this May, and I won’t be able to make it to her wedding or bachelorette :/
What an awesome day and you look so pretty in all your pics! I love celebrating with some champagne and just hanging out with friends.
