Tackling Tofu…
I’ve always been one of those “I like tofu but I’m scared to make it” people. No idea why. Something about it intimidates me. I bought some once and it sat in my fridge for months before I had to throw it away. I really have no idea why. But anyway.
I didn’t actually make tofu, but I watched it be made for me… 🙂 (Same chef who made the amazing Krishna Dressing)
Yummm so delicious. Tofu simmered in marinara sauce. This eventually found it’s way on top of some whole wheat pasta. It was mighty tasty.
On an unrelated note, I added a “Tunes” tab up there ^^ because I realized how much I dread working out if I don’t have music. To me, a playlist is crucial. So I’m wondering if anyone has new song suggestions for me? Or feel free to just judge my picks 😉

marinara tofu! one of my favorite sauces to make with tofu because the tofu is like a sponge when its in sauces (tomato based especially i find) and it tastes so good!
hmm i wish i had some tunes i could recommend that i like… i feel like there has been a drought recently in the music-scene.. 🙁
i LOVE tofu…baking it is my favorite.
i combine a little bit of bragg’s aminos with sugar free log cabin syrup & chili powder and then bake it in the oven. it is heavenly!

I never thought to make tofu like that – I am now adding this idea to my must tries.
I love tofu. I was converted to it when I stayed in China for a few months and it was so much more appetising than the meat they serve there.
I’ve just baked a load and love it cold in salads, in stir fries, in stews, in soups etc etc. So versatile – not tried making dessert with it yet though.
So glad you’re taking on the scary white block. You’re now part of the cool club.

Oh my heavensss that tofu looks delightful! I can’t imagine how delicious that’s going to taste. I used to dislike tofu mucho, but after playing around with it (different spices, marinating, baking, or pan-browning) I started to fall madly in love. Try tofu scramble (crumble tofu into pan with paprika + nutritional yeast + veggies) and it will taste juuust like eggs, I promise you!
It’s just the texture that freaks people out. Don’t fear the soy-product, yo! Glad you liked your pasta-topper tofu 😀

ohmygosh you’re just like me! Super scared to make tofu on my own b/c I can never quite get my mind around what to do with it… but I love it and crave it constantly! I finally bought a brick last week and am still trying to figure out what to make. tofu spaghetti sounds goood!
