Description

This creamy pasta recipe is made with canned tomatoes and goat cheese for a simple sauce that tastes rich and luxurious but it comes together quickly.


Ingredients

  • 8oz pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 28oz can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4oz goat cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium heat for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the tomatoes, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes and stir. Simmer for 10-15 minutes over medium heat until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in the goat cheese until the goat cheese melts into the sauce.
  6. Stir in the cooked pasta until evenly coated.
