Description

These vegan tahini chocolate chip cookies are crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. They’re made with just 8 simple ingredients for an easy, delicious treat!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/3 cup avocado oil
  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks (vegan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. In a large bowl, combine tahini, oil, sugar, and almond milk.
  3. Stir in the flour, salt, and baking soda until completely incorporated. The dough will be crumbly, but holds its shape when squeezed.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop 2 tablespoon amounts of dough and place on lined baking sheets with 2-3” between them.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until just barely golden brown around the edges. Remove from oven and tap tray once to help cookies settle.
  7. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes on the baking sheet before moving to a cooling rack.
