Description

This spinach and feta flatbread is a simple yet flavorful recipe that only takes a few minutes to prepare. Try it for a delicious dinner or share it with friends for an easy appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread (4″ x 8″)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shallot and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Add the spinach to the skillet and cook for another minute until wilted. Remove from heat.
  5. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Top with mozzarella, shallots, and spinach. Sprinkle with feta cheese.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the mozzarella cheese is melted.

  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
