This savory granola is salty and crunchy, making it a uniquely delicious snack! It’s perfect on top of salads or dips for a tasty crunch, or eat it by the handful like a trail mix!


  • 1 ½ cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup flax seeds
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons fennel seeds
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Spread out mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until starting to brown.
  3. Allow to cool, then store in an air-tight container at room temperature.


Note: all seeds should be shelled!
