Description

These rosemary roasted nuts are sweet and salty with a hint of spice. They’re delicious for a party snack and they made a great addition to a charcuterie board!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups mixed nuts (I used almonds, cashews, and macadamia nuts)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary (about 23 large sprigs)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoons flaky salt or 1/4 teaspoon table salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, rosemary, paprika, salt, and vanilla.
  4. Spread the nuts on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle the maple syrup mixture over the nuts. Use a spatula to stir the nuts until they’re evenly coated.
  5. Press into a flat, even layer and bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and stir the nuts.
  6. Bake for an additional 5 minutes then remove from the oven and let cool.
