Description

This tasty ice cream is made with frozen fruit and cottage cheese for a healthy treat that is creamy and delicious! It only takes a few minutes to make this simple recipe!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (do not use fat-free cottage cheese)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen berries
  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Add the cottage cheese, berries, banana, and honey to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Enjoy it immediately as soft serve ice cream or transfer the ice cream to a loaf pan and freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.

  4. If freezing for longer or overnight, place the pan in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour to allow to thaw slightly. This will make it easier to scoop.
