Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add red onion and cook, stirring frequently, for about 2 minutes, until beginning to soften.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers, oregano, and salt. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peppers are softened and the onions are translucent.
  4. Remove from heat and serve warm. Enjoy them with your favorite main dish or stuff them right into tacos!
