Description

This cheesy black bean dip is the perfect balance of creamy, spicy flavors. Serve it with your favorite chips for a delicious appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 15oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (or 2 tablespoons adobo sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/3 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a food processor, add the black beans, garlic, cumin, chipotle peppers, cream cheese, and lime juice.
  3. Pulse 10-15 times or until incorporated but still chunky.
  4. Transfer the bean mixture to a small oven-safe baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve immediately.
