Description

This lemon butter pasta sauce is a simple yet delicious recipe, perfect for a quick weeknight meal! With lots of garlic and lemon flavor, this easy recipe will become a new favorite!


Ingredients

  • 8oz spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions and reserve ½ cup of the pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat for 30 seconds. Add the butter and garlic and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup of pasta water to the skillet.

  4. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine. Add an additional 1/4 cup of pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
  5. Top with Parmesan cheese and season with salt.
