Description
Homemade pizza dough is delicious, but what if you don’t have any yeast? This beer pizza dough is the answer! The yeast from the beer gives this dough a chewy texture with a crispy crust. Since the alcohol cooks off in the oven, this recipe is family-friendly!

- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12oz beer
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a large bowl.
- Use a stand mixer with a dough hook or a wooden spoon to mix for 3-4 minutes or until the flour is incorporated.
- Let the dough rest for 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
- Divide the dough into two balls. Roll one dough ball onto a floured surface, until it’s about 12″ across. Repeat with a second dough ball or freeze the extra dough.
- Bake the crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone for 5-7 minutes. (5 minutes will yield a softer crust, 7 minutes will create crispy edges.)
- Add toppings then continue to bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Once the crust is browned, remove it from the oven.
