Yesterday was a pretty jam packed day but I managed to snap photos along the way!
I started the day with some plain Greek yogurt (with stevia) topped with blueberries and a bit of Love Grown Granola.
The morning flew by with meetings and emails and work stuff. I grabbed lunch around 11:30 and lunch during a webinar.
I went with tomato soup and a salad of arugula, feta, strawberries, and walnuts. This salad was perfect.
On Tuesdays we have a Candy Cart at work (I know-my job is awesome) and my co-worker and I had volunteered to take it around yesterday:
I snagged a handful of gummy bears. I used to be more of a chocolate person but lately I’ve been craving gummies!
The rest of the afternoon was spent in a long meeting and we had a happy hour afterwards. Seriously, I can see why people gain weight in an office. Candy carts and happy hours certainly make it challenging to stay on track! I managed to keep myself limited to a few pieces of cheese.
We got home from work a little later than normal so I hopped right into the kitchen and started making dinner. I had been craving egg noodles lately, and even though they’re not great for you… sometimes you just have to satisfy a craving.
So I made “Chicken-less noodle soup” which was super simple but hit the spot. We had a little salad on the side.
After dinner we had our small group from church over and we enjoyed some wine and cookies while we chatted about Sunday’s sermon. (The sermon was about envy and it was so good.)
