Confession: I’m totally one of those people who sets really unrealistic goals, and then can’t actually reach those goals, and then I get sad for not attaining them, but I’m not sad for long because then I just pick a new totally unrealistic goal and then the cycle continues and I end up with long run on sentences like this one.
Oh, hey there 2011. What’s up? Let’s do some goal setting
1. Run a Half Marathon. I said this before, but we’ve had some issues signing up with the VA Beach race… so we’ve gotta find another one. We WILL find one though. I’ve got enough people committed with me, that I don’t think this one will fall through the cracks. (Also, if this is one of your goals, you should check out the guest post from Lee @ In My Tummy on A Foodie Stays Fit‘s blog, great tips on running a half!)
2. Impact a life other than mine. In all my goal setting experience (what does that even mean? I don’t know) you’re supposed to set measurable goals. I don’t know how to measure this, but I’m going to do what I can. Now I just need to find some opportunities to make this a reality. Feel free to pass along suggestions
3. Use my gym membership. I like group classes and they kick my butt. But sometimes I just stop going. And that’s lame. I need to get myself to those classes.
2011 is going to be a good year, I can feel it!
