Was your new year’s resolution to get in shape? Then these gadgets and things are for you. Even if you’re already a frequent gym-goer, you might find some of these new things useful! A few of these things have been on my radar for awhile now, but I’m finally getting around to testing them out.


Koss headphones. I got to try these through the FitFluential ambassador program and I loooove them. (Full disclosure: I was compensated for reviewing these, but as always my opinions are my own!) They finally make earbuds small enough for me!!!! Apple headphones have historically been the only pair that will really stay in my ear when I’m running. These babies don’t move a bit, and even stay in when I’m a little sweaty. Woohoo! Ladies with small ears, rejoice.

Workout Clothes. Alright, let’s be honest. Sometimes a new outfit is all it takes to get you out the door. To the gym, that is. These are some of my favorite brands and styles of workout clothes, from cheap to “investment” prices.

Groupon Deals. I absolutely love group fitness classes, but they can start to get a little pricey. I’ve found Groupon/Living Social deals to be the best way to try a new type of class. I hate buying a whole class package before knowing if I’ll like the gym or class, but if you’re getting it for half off, it’s usually worth a shot. (I’m currently trying out some barre and spin classes!)

Those are the things that are getting me motivated to get my heart rate up. Sometimes I do it because I know it’s good for me, but sometimes I need a little extra push. These are the things that get me moving!
