- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, add the softened cream cheese, vanilla, eggs, milk, and melted butter. Use a handheld mixer to beat until completely smooth.
- Beat in the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until the batter is smooth.
- Place a pan over medium-low heat. Lightly butter if needed.
- Pour about ⅓ cup of batter into the center of the pan. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges begin to set.
- Flip and cook until golden on both sides. This takes about 3–5 minutes total, roughly 1–3 minutes per side.
