Chickpea Caesar Wrap
These chickpea Caesar wraps are a quick and easy lunch! You only need a handful of ingredients for this healthy, filling meal.
I’ve always loved Caesar dressing but once I became a vegetarian I had to find an alternative since most Caesar salad dressings contain anchovies. But luckily for me, it hasn’t been hard to create a vegetarian-friendly swap! Once I had a dressing nailed down, the rest of this wrap is easy! Think of this recipe as a simple base and you can add other veggies to the wrap depending on what you have in your fridge.
The Best Vegetarian Caesar Salad Dressings
If you’re looking for a homemade option, try my creamy vegan Caesar dressing which has just the right amount of creamy, tangy flavor to replace your favorite Caesar salad dressing. You can make a batch of this dressing and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Or if you don’t want to make your own dressing, I recommend Brianna’s Asiago Caesar dressing. It’s not vegan (it does contain dairy) but there’s no fish in it, so it’s vegetarian friendly. I love the flavor and I always have a bottle in my fridge.
The chickpeas and veggies make this wrap healthy, and the dressing adds the perfect punch of flavor. Of course, if you’re not a vegetarian, any Caesar dressing would work. For the chickpeas, you can either use them straight out of the can or you can make these crispy chickpeas and add the cooked chickpeas to the wrap. Keep in mind that the crispy chickpeas won’t stay crispy as they cool down. But they’ll still have a lovely flavor!
Variations & Substitutions
- Feel free to add additional veggies. I love chopped tomatoes, shredded carrots, or shredded cabbage.
- You can also add shaved Parmesan cheese or crumbled feta cheese.
- I recommend using a whole wheat wrap for more protein and fiber but any type of tortilla or wrap will be fine.

I love Caesar salads! Those wraps look so easy and delicious. I bet the feta adds such a great Caesar meets Mediterranean flavor.
I haven’t had a Caesar Salad in the longest time. I used to LOVE them and it’d always be the salad of my choice 🙂 I’ll have to try these wraps – they seriously look amazing. A nice way to change up the monotony of my weeknight dinners!
Yum! I love chickpeas and that’s my favorite dressing. Totally making this!
I love Caesar salads! I don’t have them quite as often as I used to, but I like a nice little twist on the classic (like this wrap you’ve made here).
This looks glorious 😀
I love caesar salads, but I agree that the dressing ingredients can be a bit off-putting! I may just have to try a version of this tonight… I have some Bolthouse farms caesar dressing sitting in my fridge just waiting to be used!
I love caeser salads. Great idea using chic peas!
Yummmmmm! I love chickpeas and I LOVE the taste of caeser. I don’t really eat anchovies so it’s funny how I enjoy caeser dressing but I do love the parmesan and the croutons. Nommy. I was actually thinking of ways to spice up my regular turkey wrap so this is perf 🙂
I love caesar salads, but I can’t order them out now because so many have eggs. Preggo problems. Humphffff. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that dressing though. It sounds awesome!
I love me caesar salad and eating them with chickpeas is such a neat idea.
