I haven’t done quite as many product reviews as I used to, as I’ve taken on a policy of only blogging about things I truly love. I’ll try (almost) anything, but not all of it is really blog worthy. Let’s face it, no one wants to read a mediocre product review, right? So when the folks at Daily Greens sent me their pitch I was intrigued, but I wasn’t expecting too much. But from the very start, I was impressed.
They shipped me 7 bottles of juice (get it? daily? one for every day of the week?) and they also sent me a cute insulated lunch bag, some stickers, and a super cute t-shirt that says Drink Your Greens. (Companies, take note: people only wear t-shirts that are super soft and cute.) I’ve already worn the shirt twice. It’s so comfy. But back to the juice.
Let me start by saying that I received these juices free of charge, but I was not required to blog about them, I just wanted to blog about them because I really loved them.
There are five flavors (you can see them all here) but “Vitality” was my favorite: kale, cucumber, pineapple, jalapeno, cilantro, celery, lime, and a dash of Himalayan sea sat. Woah. Delicious.
Each bottle contains 6lbs (yes, six pounds) of fresh produce. If you’ve never juiced before, that might not surprise you. It takes a whole lot of fruits and veggies to come out with a cup of juice.
A few of you asked on Instagram, where you could get these delicious bottles of goodness. They’re not in every state right now, but they are rapidly expanding and if they’re not coming to your city, they’re currently available online. I’m hoping they come to the Whole Foods in Virginia soon, since they’re obviously cheaper in-store.
Anyways, I know I’m probably sounding like a commercial at this point (no, I’m not using referral links) but I think this would be a great way for someone who is considering juicing regularly to try it out before investing in a juicer. I recently wrote a post about whether or not juicing is for you, and if you think it’s for you, then you should give this company a shot!
To be honest, I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had time to juice very often, so I loved being able to just grab one of these on my way out the door. It was also a nice pick me up in the afternoon, and I traded in my cup of coffee without feeling that 2:30 slump. Obviously, these come with a price tag, but since juicing is fairly expensive anyway, if you want to take the hassle out of it, I really do think these are a great option.
If you want to juice on your own, start with this post.
