My Favorite Kitchen Gifts Under $50

Need a few gift ideas for the foodie on your list? These picks are under $50, but they’ll get a lot of use in the kitchen!

  1. I bought these reusable Stasher bags a couple of years ago, and I love them! It’s reduced our usage of plastic bags, and I love that these are dishwasher and microwave safe. The Stasher bags are pricy, but they’re high quality, and they last a really long time.
  2. My sister-in-law got me one of these Silpat Baking Mats years ago, and I love it! It’s like having reusable parchment paper. It’s great for roasting vegetables. You don’t have to worry about food sticking to the pan, and you can use less oil when roasting vegetables.
  3. I have a larger mandoline slicer, but I find myself reaching for these smaller blades all the time. I can slice things like cucumbers and carrots in a flash. The blades come in a storage container, so you never have to worry about having an exposed blade in a drawer.
  4. These reusable k-cups make single-cup brewing much cheaper and better for the environment. I fill these up with a scoop of coffee grounds, and I’m ready to go. Plus, you can make your coffee as strong or weak as you like.
  5. I have this drawer that stores all my k-cups. It’s great because the Keurig can sit on top of the drawer, making it easy to slide the coffee maker out from under the cabinet. This makes it easier to store the coffee maker out of sight!
  6. For years, I wrestled with cheap scissors. Then I finally bought a pair of real kitchen shears, and it was a game changer. These are less than $10, but they’re heavy-duty and make any cutting job a breeze.

My Favorite Kitchen Gifts over $50

If you’re looking for a more substantial gift, these are some of my favorite kitchen investments.

  1. These stacking pots and pans are amazing. I’ve had them for years, and I love how they don’t take up nearly as much space as a regular set. Plus, the lids are clear, so it’s easy to see how things are cooking. I have the whole set, and I use them daily!
  2. It’s not cheap, but a Vitamix is the best blender around. I got mine over a decade ago, and it still works like a dream. It can crush ice in the blink of an eye, and it creates delicious soups and sauces in minutes. You can find refurbished models for less than $300.
  3. My parents got me this Dutch Oven a few years ago, and I love it. I use it for oven-baked risotto, soups, and even bread. The cast-iron pot provides an even surface for heating foods, so you don’t end up with hot spots. It also holds heat well, so it’s perfect for keeping your soup warm.
  4. I have the Keurig Duo Plus Coffee Machine that I use daily, and I love it. We used to have a regular coffee and a single cup machine, but it took up so much counter space. This coffee maker is a 2-in-1, so we can make a full pot of coffee in the morning and single cups as needed in the afternoon.
